Guess What @ Kota Damansara 越南美食

We were tired from running around Selangor for the whole day so we just wanted to grab dinner before going home to rest. At first, we just wanted to eat at a hawker centre and called it a day. However, we were attracted by a restaurant on our way to the hawker centre. After looking at the menu, we decided the price was reasonable and decided to try it out.

结束了一整天的活动后，我和倩雯都累坏了，只想赶紧把晚餐解决、回家休息！原本我们只想随便找个小贩中心吃吃，但我们竟然被这家越南餐厅吸引住了。
看了价钱后，也觉得可以接受，就来试试新美食咯~

Kuay Tiew Zabb @ Melaka Raya 泰式餐厅

I was back in Melaka for the weekend and asked Chin Yee out for lunch. As usual, Melaka was packed during the weekend, we tried to go to another cafe but Chin Yee couldn't find a parking so we had to go here instead. I had previously gone to this restaurant was good so I suggested we came here.

周末的马六甲总是挤满了人，尤其是鸡场街，根本是不能去的。在经历了塞车和找不到停车位后，我们放弃了原本想要去的餐厅，选择了我们的第二爱吃的食物 - 泰式料理。
这家泰式餐厅是倩雯推荐的，因为她去那里吃过，觉得很不错吃。

Bowery Petit @ TTDI 西式美食

We were driving around looking for a parking when we spotted this little cafe. Since we haven't had our breakfast, we decided to try it out. 

在一直找不到停车位的中午，我和倩雯就只能一直绕着圈圈找位子。等到终于停好车子了，却发现四周并没有我们想要吃的东西。
在‘随便吃吃’的心理下，我们就随便选了这家餐厅走进去。

Isaac Toast @ KLIA2 韩国面包早点

When Chin Yee found out that Isaac Toast, a Korean franchise will be opening at KLIA 2, she immediately said we had to try it. There was a lot of hype about this franchise opening in Malaysia and people flocked to the airport just to  try it, which we also did.

这是一家在KLIA2新开的面包早点的餐店，它的开业消息让很多人都为之疯狂，因为这家店在韩国已经很出名了。

Brussels Galerie @ Bangsar South 德国美食

It had been a long time since I met up with the gang, so when Chin Yee was coming up to Kl, we decided to meet up with our other friend. We decide to try Brussels Galerie since I  was craving for Western food.

我们有很久很久都没有一起吃饭聊天，难得我去了趟KL，就把这两人约出来吃午餐了。

这次去到的地方是正夯的Bangsar South，那里的有很多不同种类的美食餐厅。

We ordered a selection of food, as shown below:

我们选择了一家贩卖德式美食以及啤酒的店。
这次一起出来的人较多，所以我们也可以选择多点美食来试试了~

Day 7 in Osaka: Our Last Day 玩游大阪 DAY 7

Our trip had finally came to an end. All of us did not want to go home and once again face reality. This trip had been much too fun! We had not left and I was already dreading the weather in Malaysia. I would really miss the weather and the awesome public transportation and like everything that was Japan.

Our flight was in the morning so we got up real early and left for the airport. Once at the airport, we had breakfast.

这一天终于来临了，那就是我们在大阪的最后一天！
还没到机场，就觉得非常舍不得了，也开始想念这里的食物还有生活。不过，我们还是得回到现实啊！

我们乘搭的是早上的班机，所以很早就要出发去机场了。办好了登机手续之后，我们就在机场里的餐厅享用早餐。

Day 6 in Osaka: Universal Studio Day! 玩游大阪 DAY 6

It was finally the day to go to Universal Studios Japan! We had learnt from our mistake and woke up real early to head there. We got there before they opened the gates and there were still a lot of people but since we got there early we got a spot right in front of the gates.

终于到了这一天了，整段旅程里我最期待的一天！那就是我们要去大阪环球影城了~~
但为了排到最前面，我们一大清早就醒来了，根本就是一副睡不醒的样子。
虽然时间还很早，可是已经有非常多的人已经在排队等入场了。我们等了很久很久，终于轮到我们进去了。

Day 5: A Day Trip to Kyoto 玩游大阪(京都一日游) DAY 5

On this day, we went on day trip to Kyoto. Kyoto was actually quite near to Osaka, so we took a train to Kyoto. Kyoto is known for being a beautiful, historical city and I was excited to go!

在旅程的第五天，我们安排了京都一日游。
因为大阪和京都的距离并不是很远，而且坐轻快铁就可以到达了，所以我们就安排了让自己去感受一下日本的古都。

Day 4 in Osaka 玩游大阪 DAY 4

We actually supposed to go to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) on this day but when we arrived there were way too many people so we decided to change our plan for the day.

After much deliberation, we decided to go to Shinsekai. We switched the itinerary for our last day to this day. There was not much planned for our last day, it was essentially a lot of free time.

原本今天的行程是去大阪环球影城，但因为我们出发得晚，加上没事先预算那里的人潮，所以就临时改变行程。

我们这次来到新世界还有去找找通天阁。基本上来说，今天的行程是非常自由的，完全没有说一定要去哪里哪里。

Day 3 in Osaka 玩游大阪 DAY 3

Today is our 3rd day in Osaka. We got up super early and head to Kuromon Market. I'm super hyped because I'm expecting lots and lots of yummy food there. We went there on a Sunday so there were many shops not opened, but it did not dampen our spirit as we head there.

这是我们在大阪的第三天了。一大早，我们就去了黑门市场，准备来个海鲜早餐。
由于那天是星期日，所以很多店面都没开，但还是不影响我们的兴致。

Day 1 in Osaka 玩游大阪 DAY 1

Our flight was at 8 a.m., but my brother and I were at the airport the night . We didn't really sleep at the airport, we just wandered around and had dinner there. Chin Yee met us there in the morning. It was my first flight (childhood does not count because I barely remembered) to a foreign country and I was excited and nervous at the same time. Thank God Chin Yee knew what to do because my brother and I were absolutely useless because we had never flown anywhere before.

I was in awe of everything and was even one of the people listening to the safety instruction thingy. When the plane took off, I was a bit nervous to see how far above the ground we were but after a while I was zen. I tried to sleep but I'm not sure how much I slept because I keep waking up. 

我们乘坐的是早上8点的航班，所以我们仨就约好了5点在机场碰面。

倩雯和她弟弟是由他们的妈妈载过去的，所以很早很早就在那里等待了。而我，则是选择从Paradigm Mall 乘搭巴士前往。

在一连串的出关等待后，我们总算上了飞机。我，马上倒头就睡了。

My Elephant Thai Restaurant @ Sri Hartamas 泰国餐厅

It was my birthday so my friends took me to a Thai restaurant called My Elephant Thai,  which I have never heard of before. I was craving for Japanese food,  but I consoled myself with the promise of Japanese food on my upcoming trip. After all,  I do love me some Thai food. 

上个星期是倩雯的生日，而我们已经很厌倦去吃自助餐或日本餐了，所以我们就选择了她也很爱的一个餐点--泰国餐！

我相信亚洲人都会很喜欢泰国菜，甚至也很喜欢去泰国旅行。当然的，我们也不例外啦~

Chuup @ Damansara Jaya 家庭式餐厅

This restaurant is a spontaneous decision that Chin Yee chose. Chin Yee wanted to borrow my laptop so she asked me out for dinner. The idea is to use my laptop while we have dinner, but when we got there, it was packed, not exactly a good place to just chill. We decided to just get dinner here before finding a cafe to just hang out.

这家餐厅是我们随机寻找的。
起初，我们只是想要找个地方可以吃晚餐以及可以坐着上网的。但，到了那里才发现，根本就没位子让我们好好地上网。所以，我们就只能吃晚餐咯…

Hwa Ga @ Oasis Square 火家

We recently went to Hwa Ga to celebrate a friend's birthday. Since we were there, we decided to write a review of the place. It is a Korean buffet BBQ style but there is also an ala carte option.

又一次，我们的生日聚会来了。

但是，这一次总算不是日本餐了，耶！

不过，还是自助餐... 到底我们要等到什么时候才能摆脱那个自助餐的循环啊.......

Ichi Zen Japanese Restaurant @ Taman Kota Syahbandar 一膳

We keep saying we're gonna try something new but let's face it, we love Japanese way too much. We went to this restaurant since it is strategically under the salon we went. We were at the salon for hours so we were very hungry. Here's what the inside of Ichi Zen (Melaka branch) looks like:

不知怎的，我们对日本餐就是百吃不厌。每一次决定要吃什么的时候或是意见不同的时候，只要拿出“日本餐”，我们全部都会举手说好。虽然我们已经说了很多次要试试别的餐点。

在理发屋里呆了将近6个小时后，我们已经不想再去想要吃什么了，所以位于楼下的日本餐厅是我们最好的选择。

Aoki Tei @ Sunway Nexis 青木亭放题

Chin Yee and I have a thing for Japanese food, in fact we eat Japanese food on most of our special occasions. We had Japanese food so often, we are actively trying to persuade ourselves to try other food. Anyway, Chin Yee and I were invited to go to a friend's birthday party at Aoki-Tei and due to our obsession with Japanese food, we had already been there before.

相信大家对这间日本自助餐厅并不陌生，前一阵子，它也算是人气餐厅之一。我和倩雯在去年就已经吃过了，也给它打了不错的评价。虽然我们朋友间一直在说“别再去吃任何日本餐了”，但真的到了那个时候，我们还是会说“好吧，就去吧！”。
今年再次的到访也和去年一样，是因为一位朋友的生日。不同的是，我们这一次去的是位于Sunway Nexus 里的这家分店。

dal.komm COFFEE @ Damansara Uptown 韩式冰品

There has been a lot of icy dessert shop popping up lately and Chin Yee and I have been going around devouring...I mean sampling some yummy ice desserts and we finally got to try dal.komm COFFEE. I've been wanting to try this for awhile and we finally got to go! Coincidentally, my brother and mother tagged along since they were in KL.

马来西亚的天气永远都那么炎热，所以各式的冰品专卖店就接二连三的在各处冒了出来。
这一家是倩雯一直都很想尝试的，我们之前闲逛时偶然发现了它。
就在上个星期，我们就在连假的最后一天晚上决定去试试啦！随行的还有倩雯的家人。

This is how the branch in Uptown Damansara looks like.
我们去的是位于Damansara Uptown的分行，也是比较靠近我们居住地区的一间。

Oktoberfest 2016 @ 1 Utama 慕尼黑啤酒节

When it's October, people who drink beer and alcohol would all know the all important Oktoberfest. Heck, even I know it and I don't even drink alcohol that often. I saw the event in 1 Utama on a social media platform and alerted Chin Yee and another friend.

就在十月初，1 Utama 的顶楼停车场举办了为期4天的慕尼黑啤酒节。虽然规模不大，但也做得有声有色的。
我们在第一天就过去了，随行的还有另一位朋友。

The first thing I was surprised about is the security, I mean the security was tight...at least to me because I was actually frisked and I have never been frisked in my entire life. They checked our IC and made sure everything was hunky dory before letting us in. There were a lot of people there, German music was playing with some ladies and gentlemen in what I assume to be traditional German clothing. Everyone else was eating and drinking German food. Chin Yee and our other friend bought coupons at the entrance so we could get food and drinks later, while I just flat out gawked at everything. You should probably know, I'm not a drinking and partying kind of girl and to be honest neither were the other two with me.
由于会场的位置有点隐秘，加上管制蛮严的，我们走了一段路才到达入口。
会场里的购买并不接受现金，所以我们就在入口处买了一些礼券。
里面早已人满为患，但大多都是媒体，毕竟才第一天嘛...

The Boarder City Cafe and Board Games @ Sunway Giza 棋盘游戏咖啡厅

I have always wanted to visit one of these board game cafes and I finally did! Chin Yee and I dragged our friend with us to the cafe. There were a number of board games available. Although according to our friend, there's another cafe that offers more board games.  I have only played the usual board games like UNO, snake and ladders and.... nope that's pretty much it. I know it's sad how little I know about board games. I don't even know how to play chess. Anyway, let's move on to our reviews, shall we?

对于棋盘游戏，我们熟悉的应该就是蛇与梯子、西洋棋之类的。但，人们的创意早就突破常规了。

现在的棋盘游戏千变万化，很多新奇的游戏都能在一块板子上进行。大多的游戏都很考脑力，需要去多加思考以及推算，才能找出自己能够胜利的方法。

These are the games that we can play. Please keep in mind that it would be better to come with more people, so that you could actually play a variety games. 

那里的游戏还算蛮多，但有的游戏需要很多人一起玩才会好玩。

Thai Hou Sek@ 1 Utama 泰好吃

Last weekend, Chin Yee and I went to Thai Hou Sek at 1 Utama. We decided to try the restaurant after smelling the tantalizing aroma wafting in the air. We ordered the char siew tom yam, son-in-law eggs, bacon pad thai and a rice dish, which for the life of me I could not recall. I have to say the food was good but the atmosphere was okay. I personally do not like crowded areas and the restaurant wasn't too jam packed. Here are the pictures of what we ordered:

在‘泰好吃’刚开张的时候，我们就有打算去试试了。毕竟，谁能够抗拒正四处飘散的香气。
就在前几天，我们总算决定去试试了。

店里的氛围还算不错，人潮在那时候也还好。他们的服务还算是在水准之上，上菜都蛮快的。

它的菜肴都蛮特别，并不是一般传统的泰式料理。
我们就分别叫了两道传统料理以及两道让我们期待惊喜的菜肴。
