Japanese Tea Workshop @ Iloha Culture Centre 日本茶工作坊

We were invited to a Japanese Tea Workshop at Iloha Culture Centre. You guys know how much we love Japanese stuff so of course we had to go!

Our instructor was Toshiya Nakabo, a tea master from Kyoto, Japan. His aim is to promote Japanese tea by Maiko Tea, a tea company based in Kyoto. He also wanted to introduce more people to the tea, Gyokuro, which was an expensive and special tea. Toshiya-san said that although he was from Japan, he was not a samurai but a chamurai. He was really friendly and nice so we really enjoyed the workshop.

这一次，我们很荣幸地被邀请参加一堂由Iloha Culture Centre 举办的日本茶工作坊。作为无意识的日本狂的我们，当然不会错过这个难得的机会了！

我们的导师 - 中坊敏也是一位道道地地的日本人，也是一位冲茶达人，他更自称是一位茶道士呢~  他来自京都的舞妓之茶，这是一家历史悠久的茶铺，他们更是生产了世界第一的上等日本茶 - 玉露。

Ichi Zen Japanese Restaurant @ Taman Kota Syahbandar 一膳

We keep saying we're gonna try something new but let's face it, we love Japanese way too much. We went to this restaurant since it is strategically under the salon we went. We were at the salon for hours so we were very hungry. Here's what the inside of Ichi Zen (Melaka branch) looks like:

不知怎的，我们对日本餐就是百吃不厌。每一次决定要吃什么的时候或是意见不同的时候，只要拿出“日本餐”，我们全部都会举手说好。虽然我们已经说了很多次要试试别的餐点。

在理发屋里呆了将近6个小时后，我们已经不想再去想要吃什么了，所以位于楼下的日本餐厅是我们最好的选择。

Chin Yee and I have a thing for Japanese food, in fact we eat Japanese food on most of our special occasions. We had Japanese food so often, we are actively trying to persuade ourselves to try other food. Anyway, Chin Yee and I were invited to go to a friend's birthday party at Aoki-Tei and due to our obsession with Japanese food, we had already been there before.

相信大家对这间日本自助餐厅并不陌生，前一阵子，它也算是人气餐厅之一。我和倩雯在去年就已经吃过了，也给它打了不错的评价。虽然我们朋友间一直在说“别再去吃任何日本餐了”，但真的到了那个时候，我们还是会说“好吧，就去吧！”。
今年再次的到访也和去年一样，是因为一位朋友的生日。不同的是，我们这一次去的是位于Sunway Nexus 里的这家分店。

Kakigori @ Taman Paramount PJ 日式冰品

Chin Yee called me saying she wanted to eat something icy so we went out on a hunt to search for icy desserts! We were scouring the internet looking for something we want to eat. Then, we found a post on a shop called Kakigori that recently opened. The shop only sells ice desserts called kakigori, which is ice shaving desserts in Japan.
 When we got there, the shop was crowded. We ordered and had to wait awhile before our icy goodness were made. We ordered two kakigoris, tiramisu for me and watermelon for Chin Yee.

某个晚上，我突然很想吃点冷的甜点，所以就把倩雯拉出来找东西吃了。
韩式冰品我们都知道，也吃了不少，但是日式的就很少见了。
上网找了才知道，原来我家附近就有一间。

店里的人潮比我想象中还要少，我们也很快的点了两道冰品。（但是，我们离开时，店外已经排长龙了。）
我点了西瓜口味的，而倩雯就点了提拉米苏的。
