Guess What @ Kota Damansara 越南美食

We were tired from running around Selangor for the whole day so we just wanted to grab dinner before going home to rest. At first, we just wanted to eat at a hawker centre and called it a day. However, we were attracted by a restaurant on our way to the hawker centre. After looking at the menu, we decided the price was reasonable and decided to try it out.

结束了一整天的活动后，我和倩雯都累坏了，只想赶紧把晚餐解决、回家休息！原本我们只想随便找个小贩中心吃吃，但我们竟然被这家越南餐厅吸引住了。
看了价钱后，也觉得可以接受，就来试试新美食咯~

The decoration of this restaurant is very Asian and at first we didn't know what kind of food it serves. I love the lanterns hanging from the ceiling that gives it an old Asian feeling. They even put up a traditional Vietnamese attire - Áo dài.

这是一家位于Kota Damansara的越南餐餐厅，它有着很有趣的名字 - Guess What。餐厅里的装饰都有着浓浓的亚洲风，甚至在墙上挂着越南的传统服装 - 奥黛。

The pork chop was quite good and the noodles were very chewy. However, the noodles are quite dry. I think they should put more sauce so that we can coat the noodles better.

这个炸猪排面是我点的~ 味道很不错，干湿度也掌控的OK。炸猪排的味道并没有太重，所以不怕它盖过其他的味道。若要说有什么可以改善的，就是我比较喜欢配着腌制青辣椒来吃~哈哈哈（根本就当做云吞面来吃了）

(Pork Chop Noodles RM9.90)

The soup was very flavourful. I don't eat pho much, in fact I don't really favour Vietnamese food but eating this pho made me rethink my haste judgement. The noodles were soft and delicious. The pork ball was a bit tough though. Since I'm so 'smart', I ordered this pho that had a lot of pork intestine when I don't actually like intestines. So I can't really comment on that front. I also liked the fact that there are crunchy fried pork fat in the soup.

这是倩雯的越南猪肉粉，看起来分量十足哦~ 它的汤头有着浓浓的炸蒜米的味道，虽然很清淡，但尝不到汤头里的其他味道。

As far as chicken wings go, I think they're okay but I prefer the Chinese hawker centre-smoked kind of chicken wings better.

这就是普通炸鸡翅膀的味道，没什么太大的惊喜。不过，腌得很不错，不会太咸或太淡。鱼露的味道并不会很重，所以害怕鱼露味道的人可以不用担心哦~

The soda lime had a really strong soda taste and I can't really taste the lime.
The apple tea was good, I think, if 'smart' me would have stirred the drink instead of drinking the tasteless water at the top and end up with a super sweet syrup at the bottom of the glass.

这两杯饮料都是属于比较清新的味道，一杯是青苹果茶，另一杯则是青柠碳酸水。
这没什么好多说的，吃完那么油腻的食物，和这类的饮料是不二选择！

(Green Apple Ice Tea RM4.90 & Lime Soda RM4.90)

Usuallly, I find Vietnamse food not really to my liking because they have so many herbs in them and the taste isn't as strong as Thai food. However, I'm reconsidering my decision to dislike Vietnamese food in general. All in all, this is the first Vietnamese restaurant that I would not mind going again.  The food is affordable and taste good. Definitely worth going again!

我本身去过越南，吃过那里的食物。而这家越南餐厅的味道并没有越南那里来得强，可能是为了迎合大马人的口味，所以做了调整。如果你想要吃正宗的越南餐，可以建议你亲自飞去那里一趟，但如果没那么多钱的话，来这里吃吃就可以了~
