When it's October, people who drink beer and alcohol would all know the all important Oktoberfest. Heck, even I know it and I don't even drink alcohol that often. I saw the event in 1 Utama on a social media platform and alerted Chin Yee and another friend.
就在十月初，1 Utama 的顶楼停车场举办了为期4天的慕尼黑啤酒节。虽然规模不大，但也做得有声有色的。
我们在第一天就过去了，随行的还有另一位朋友。
The first thing I was surprised about is the security, I mean the security was tight...at least to me because I was actually frisked and I have never been frisked in my entire life. They checked our IC and made sure everything was hunky dory before letting us in. There were a lot of people there, German music was playing with some ladies and gentlemen in what I assume to be traditional German clothing. Everyone else was eating and drinking German food. Chin Yee and our other friend bought coupons at the entrance so we could get food and drinks later, while I just flat out gawked at everything. You should probably know, I'm not a drinking and partying kind of girl and to be honest neither were the other two with me.
由于会场的位置有点隐秘，加上管制蛮严的，我们走了一段路才到达入口。
会场里的购买并不接受现金，所以我们就在入口处买了一些礼券。
里面早已人满为患，但大多都是媒体，毕竟才第一天嘛...
There were a lot of food and of course beer being sold there. We saw a lot of German food, most which I have read about but have never tried. We exchange our coupons for food and drink though none of us drank any alcohol because the two of them are driving and I don't understand the appeal of beer.
会场里贩卖很多各式各样的食物，我们也买了几样比较少见的食物来试试。
但，可惜的是，我们并没有喝到任何酒类(因为把钱都吃光了)。
First, we had German poutine, at least that's what I think it is. This happened a while back, my memory is foggy. By the way, the pouting thing was awesome.
这是我们第一个购买的食物，我不太记得是什么了。哈哈哈~~
We had meatloaf, sausages of some kind (bratwurst maybe?) and also root beer (I know it's kind of lame to drink root beer at an event celebrating beer, but whatever).
既然都说是慕尼黑啤酒节了，当然少不了德国的食物来搭配。
最著名的应该就是德国香肠了吧...
不过，我们喝的并不是啤酒。
After that we had more sausages, bratwurts or whatever it's called, apple danish and strawberry shortcake. It all taste okay but I think the apple danish would have tasted awesome if it was piping hot instead of lukewarm.
咸食吃完了，自然就轮到甜点。这两样甜点都是倩雯想要吃的。
一个是草莓蛋糕，还有一个是苹果什么什么的....
After eating, we also took pictures to commemorate. Hopefully there are more interesting events coming our way.
吃饱喝足了，少不了的就是拍照留念啦~
难得在我们附近有这样的活动，当然不能错过咯！
希望他们会继续举办类似的活动，到时我一定会准备多点钱来买酒喝。
