It was my birthday so my friends took me to a Thai restaurant called My Elephant Thai, which I have never heard of before. I was craving for Japanese food, but I consoled myself with the promise of Japanese food on my upcoming trip. After all, I do love me some Thai food.
上个星期是倩雯的生日，而我们已经很厌倦去吃自助餐或日本餐了，所以我们就选择了她也很爱的一个餐点--泰国餐！
我相信亚洲人都会很喜欢泰国菜，甚至也很喜欢去泰国旅行。当然的，我们也不例外啦~
The shop we went to was located at Sri Hartamas. A few of my friends had eaten here before and said the food was good...but I'm a tough critic and...the food was really lacking. It turned out to be quite a disappointing dinner.

这次选择的是很著名的泰国餐厅，位于Sri Hartamas的其中一间分店。
我们其中几位都有吃过这一家的料理，也都觉得还不错。不过，那一天却让我们有点失望。
以下就是我们点的菜啦~
All in all, the food wasn't bad but somehow unsatisfying. The green curry was watery and the tom yam wasn't spicy. Heck, nothing was spicy. The vegetables, omelette and chicken all tasted average. The only dish that I grudgingly think was better than the rest was the calamari, which technically didn't even qualify as Thai food. I mean it's fried calamari! And yeah... We totally ordered another serving of fried calamari. Another complaint I had was the food portion was just too small!!
I had to say this particular store was disappointing, I don't know if I'm just unlucky and got the store that served crappy Thai food or maybe there was a new chef or this whole franchise was crappy. Although my friends claimed that the food tasted better on their previous trips, I don't think I will waste my time visiting this store again because I think I'd rather try something else.
其实他们家的东西都是不错吃的，可是不知道为什么那天的料理都让我们不满意，尤其是那道绿咖喱。
我们印象中的绿咖喱都是比较浓稠，而且有很多蔬菜的。但，那天我们吃到的却很稀，而且也没有什么蔬菜，完全就只是一些鸡肉块泡在绿色的汤里。这真的让我们吃得很失望。
在这其中，还能够接受的就只有煎蛋和炸章鱼了。
汤和炒蔬菜也就普普通通，汤不够辣不够酸，喝得不过瘾。其他菜肴也都还好，并不是那么特出。
不知道是分店的关系还是他们的餐点真的是如此，但我们就是非常不满意。
