Handmade Bakery Cafe @ Kota Laksamana 法日式烘焙咖啡馆

After having Thai food, we went to Handmade Bakery Cafe to have some dessert. A friend of ours recommended us here.

就在吃泰式料理的同一天,我们随后去吃甜品了~ 我也说过了嘛,之前那一餐真的让我觉得不满足,所以我还想要再吃点东西,什么都好!
这家烘焙咖啡馆是朋友的姐姐介绍的,她也和我们同行哦~




The atmosphere in the cafe is quite simple and spacious. You can see the cakes available on display at the counter.

我还蛮喜欢里面的氛围,整体看起来就是一家很舒适的咖啡馆。里面的装潢并不会太多太杂,我个人很怕那种放了一大推东西的咖啡馆或餐厅,那会让我觉得很不自在。





There were a variety of cakes to choose from and all of them looked good. After much consideration, we ended up choosing 3 types to share.

The first cake is chocolate mint cake. I absolutely love mint chocolate so this was my favourite cake out of the bunch. The bottom of the cake is like hazelnut cookie which complements the cake very well. It's not overly sweet, which I love. This is definitely one cake that I can probably binge eat on.

咖啡馆的展示柜里放了十多款的蛋糕,而且每个都看起来好好吃。但是我们又不能真的全部都点完(虽然我有时真的很想那么做),所以只是选了三款我们比较想要尝试的蛋糕。

第一个被选中的就是薄荷巧克力慕斯蛋糕啦~ 我和倩雯都很喜欢这种蛋糕,所以就一定要选它了,也当作是弥补上次在KL吃不到的遗憾。
第一口吃下后,我们瞬间爱上了这个蛋糕!薄脆的巧克力外皮下裹着薄荷慕斯,伴着吃下去简直就是美味到了极点。蛋糕下还有铺着一层饼干碎哦,搭配蛋糕吃的话,也是很好吃的。
老板有说他们家的材料都是进口的,品质比起其他牌子都来得好。所以,做出来的甜点自然会比较好吃啦···

Choco Mint Block  RM 14.70

The next cake is a lychee mousse cake. You can barely taste the lychee so I'm quite disappointed. The chocolate mousse felt like the main ingredient. There is also coconut shavings at the bottom, which I don't really like. All in all, I don't really like it all that much.


接下来就是荔枝巧克力慕斯蛋糕,它里面也是慕斯,不同的是这个是白巧克力的口味。蛋糕底下还撒了一圈的椰丝,稍微解了腻,让口味不至于只有甜味。虽说是荔枝,可是我却感觉不到荔枝味,反而满口都是白巧克力的味道。
这个蛋糕就比较不合我们的胃口了,它比较清淡,味道上也没有很特出。总之,就是不适合我们这些重口味的。

Lychee Mousse Cake  RM 13.70

The last cake is the caramel chestnut almond cake. The cake is a moist spongecake and taste of caramel and chestnut.The cake is very light and the sweetness was just right. It was quite good.

第三个就是焦糖杏仁栗子蛋糕,这个蛋糕满满的都是坚果的味道,还是很浓的坚果味哦~我个人不喜欢吃坚果类的东西,不论是原味的还是加在甜点里的,我都不喜欢。
撇开个人口味不说,这个蛋糕还是很好吃的。坚果和奶油搭配起来,口感是一等一的好,加上蛋糕很松软,吃起来也是一口接着一口的吃。

Caramel Chestnut Almond  RM 12.20

After we had our cakes, we also had a talk with the owner. He said his cafe is more health conscious and that all their cream and flour are imported from Japan and France. He said that French cream does not feel as heavy as regular cream. He also said that when he makes mousse, he avoids using  too much gelatin. All this to ensure that his customers get a much healthy version cakes than normal cafes.

In conclusion, I feel like this is a cafe we can revisit and try again. I think I'm mainly going to go  there for the mint chocolate cake though. However, if you are looking for a new cafe to satisfy your desserts craving, maybe you can try this cafe.

现在的我就感觉稍微满意一点了,总算解了上一餐的恨。
个人很推荐这一家烘焙屋哦,尤其是吃腻了其他家的蛋糕之后,终于找到了另一家好吃的蛋糕店。
