倩雯从很早开始就一直叫我来试试这家咖啡馆的食物,她说这里的食物都很好吃。理所当然的,我们就来试试啦~
However since it was located in Jonker Walk so it was very difficult to park. The cafe is situated behind a shop. You have to go in the shop and head to the backroom, that's where the cafe is. The cafe is always full so if you do decided to go, be prepared to wait for awhile unless you're super lucky. The cafe had an old-timey feel. It's a nostalgic Melaka which I love. Here's some pictures of the cafe.
这家店有一点和普通的店家不一样,就是他们是在某间店铺的后方,所以你得细心留意,否则可能会走过去了也不晓得。
既然是开在古城的老街里,店里的装潢自然少不了满满的古味啦… 店里都是用一些有点年代的物品来装潢,甚至座椅都是随机的,并不是那种全部一样样的现代座椅。
Here's the menu. They have different menu for different times of the day. One menu for breakfast an lunch and another for dinner. However, the only difference is in the main course. The dessert and drinks are the same for both times.
他们家有两种不同的主菜菜单,一份是早午餐,另一份是晚餐的。但,他们的甜点和饮料是全天都可以吃到的。

The eggs were so good! It's soft and fluffy. Mushroom was also good because you can't do anything wrong with mushrooms. The bread was toasted on one side so it's crispy.
炒蛋很松软,吃下去软软绵绵的,很好吃。香菇也炒得很够味,搭配面包和炒蛋吃下去,简直就是最佳早餐餐点!

I have to say that there wasn't enough garlic in this. The duck is nice though. The bread is toasted both sides so it's really crispy. I also feel like there was not enough salt. Maybe they thought the saltiness of the duck would balance out the spaghetti but I want more salt because there just wasn't enough duck to go with the spaghetti.
这是我叫倩雯点的主餐,因为我想要试试他们料理的鸭胸。虽说这是蒜油意面,但蒜味不够,是非常不够!我个人是很喜欢吃蒜的人,所以觉得这并不和我的胃口。
不过,鸭胸就弥补了这一点不足。他们把鸭胸腌得很入味,咸度都刚刚好,不会抢过了意大利面的味道。

(Smoked Duck Aglio E Olio RM 18.50)
By now, you guys should know I absolutely love carbonara. I love the carbonara here, it has poached egg and bacon it. It also has something crunchy in the sauce but I have no idea what it was. The black pepper also gave it a kick. FYI, I love black pepper too.

他们家的奶油意面能说是中规中矩,并没有太突出,但也不至于难吃。不过,还是值得试一试的~ 而且,我觉得倩雯的心愿之一应该有“尝遍所有贩卖的奶油意面”吧…
The pandan pancake is a bit harder than the salted egg yolk pancakes. The sauce is kelapa sawit with gula Melaka. It's not bad but it can't beat the salted egg yolk pancakes.

他们家的重点推荐甜点就是煎饼啦~ 而这道班兰煎饼就是他们的推荐之一!
几乎所有班兰口味的食物都和椰糖非常搭,无论是包裹着或是用来蘸,都会马上好吃十倍。也许是有椰糖的关系,他们的煎饼并没有弄得太甜。就算只是单吃煎饼,也是OK的哦~
(Local Pandan Pancake RM 13.90)
This is the best pancake I have ever had. It was soft and fluffy. It had vanilla ice cream on top and it was absolutely divine.
接下来的这个咸蛋黄煎饼可以说是必吃之一!别看它外表那么单调,里面可是大有乾坤哦~ 除了用来蘸的咸蛋黄酱,煎饼里还有呢。一刀切下去,咸蛋黄酱就会流出来,和香草冰淇淋一起搭着吃下去,咸甜咸甜的,绝对会让你无比惊艳!
(Salted Egg Yolk Pancake RM 17.90)
I personally love the food here, but I admit to being bias because of the pancakes. I would say that this cafe is a must go for anyone visiting Melaka or Jonker Walk.
鸡场街那么多家咖啡馆,这家还是挺值得一去的。虽然周末的鸡场街很难找到停车位,不过偶尔去感受一下古城的热闹人潮也是不错的哦~
