You guys are probably wondering who are the Tanini Trio? Tanini Trio is a Turkish band consisting of Tahir Aydoğdu playing Kanoun, Bilgin Canaz playing Ney & Hakan Ali Toker playing Piano.

The Tanini Trio held a concert at KLPAC on 28th August 2017. The concert was organised by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Kuala Lumpur in order to promote Turkish culture to Malaysia. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Kuala Lumpur is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote Turkish culture.

The performance began with Tahir Aydoğdu playing Kanoun, who was later joined by Bilgin Canaz playing Ney. After that, they were joined by Hakan Ali Toker playing Piano. They played classical Turkish music to their own rendition of classical music from other countries. There was even a segment where they improvised by using someone's phone number to create new music.
At the end of the show, the band ended with a song they said they recently learned. Since I was August, I thought that maybe it was our national anthem but it turned out to be Suasana Hari Raya. They asked the audience to sing along and they did! I wanted to sing along but I don't know all the lyrics. I have to say this was the song I enjoyed the most because I actually knew it.
All in all, I have to be honest I'm not a fan of instrumental only music, so it wasn't really my thing. However, it was still a fun experience!
